With the August heat behind us we enter into one of the most beautiful months in Nova Scotia, September, with it’s colourful jerusalem artichokes and other late blooming flowers.  We have two vendors selling fresh flower bouquets.  Friday is Market Day in Chester and it’s going to be a lovely day – Come Grow With Us!

Back again with his beautiful jazz flute is musician Jim Kovalcik.

George is back with his Laughing Whale coffee and there is hot food by Indus Cuisine and Lobster Jo’s; apple cider from Suprima Farms and hard cider from Stone Poste Cidery

Breads and Sweet Treats by Boulangerie La Vendeenne and  Brenda’s Baked Goods

Our farmers are Higbee’s Berry Farm with a selection of fruit and veggies; R&R Corkums with meat products, eggs, etc.; Bonny Lea Farm with herbs, oils, compost and more; and Melanie from Sweet Spot Farms

Jams, jellies, pickles, and chutneys by June Boehner

And last, but not least, all manner of seafood from the Fish Store with Eric and Sandra Publicover

Away this week:   Ginger is away but Nancy Humby is minding his shop for a few weeks and will not be in her usual spot with Watkins and Magic Cloth; Fox’s Folly Woodworking is also away this week
